This is gonna sound mean - but you shouldn't be convincing her not to leave you.
So - you work hard to care for both of you and she wants to leave because your not there enough - there is probably more to this story - sounds like she needs some attention and a wake up call.
I work in the trades as well. We have a lot of work - all over the place - i often have to be out of town for weeks at a time - my wife is very understanding because she knows that without the income - life would be much harder. She often comes to visit me when im out of town and we talk at least 3 times a day when im gone - try communicating with her - find out what needs she isnt getting met -
Would she really prefer a family that lives on an unemployment check? Because there isn't much partying going on with unemployment checks. |

1. When you are at work try to call her at least once a day.
2. Make sure you spend your time off with your wife. |

Make your relationship a priority or you won't have one. She is missing you & tired of being lonely.
When it is all said & done you won't be saying you wish you had spent more time at work. You will be wishing you would have been with your family. |

Take a week off, plan a holiday during that week and rekindle the flame. We women need attention and love just like you guys. Just surprise her with a week off and work out a weekly/monthly date so you both have "couple time".
CUT BACK ON WORK IF YOU LOVE HER AND WANT THIS MARRIAGE TO WORK.
Good luck!! |

That's a touchy subject I have a husband that I only get to see one day every week,if I am lucky. But that's what I married when I married him.I know she does get lonely and does get tired of being alone but she also knew what was going to happen when she married you right?Maybe she is looking for a way to be noticed you know the whole new attention thing when you have a new lover and they notice everything about one another new.I don't really know good luck man I wish You the very best. |

Well either you -
1. communicate and draw a timetable to make her aware of your reasons as you have explained to us is to stablise and better the life you are trying to sustain with her as the economy is really playing up and she should look at how luckily you are to still be in the clear.
2. you adjust your hours around work and try to become a bit flexible in how you can juggle both going to work and spending time with her,
But try to speak to her in a way she should be understanding, have awareness and comprise with all you try to do for her and you. |

Try telling her that you work so much to make her comfortable. Set aside time to spend with her when you are not working. But, note that if she has her mind made up to leave, she will for what ever little reason. Good luck. |

Spend time with her. Hold her at night in bed. Even if you are super tired get coffee on the way home so you can spend time with her. She's right and I'd want to leave too. Money isn't everything, I'd rather struggle financially and have all the love in the world. |

tell her to give you the chance to prove to her that you love her and will change that for her. dedicate more time for her even if your tired a little of attention everyday will help. kiss her everyday tell her you love her spend you days off entirely with her. do romantic things, buy her flowers , make a nice dinner or take her out to one. buy her a card, write her a note with something special before you leave from work, make love often, hug her, i mean i can go on with a list of things you can do everyday to keep your woman happy. but you have to do it and continue to do it. show her she's important and comes first than your work. i promise you that the feeling of being alone when your married its terrible everyday i'm sure she's hoping you change. good luck and i hope she stays. |

Just get into the habit of doing small things to remind her she is appreciated, give her a card every now and then, write a little note, take some days off and go on a nice little cruise or vacation for a few days alone. Buy a banana boat thong and wear it in the bedroom to spice things up, buy a whip and tell her she can spank you.
The most important thing here seems to be that you said, your check goes on our needs, well a huge need of hers emotionally is not being met, and maybe you should get a little smaller of a check each month in order to spend more time with your wife, and consider it money spent on your needs. Take a few days a month off. Whatever you can do. |

You didn't provide enough information for an insightful reply.
How long have you been together?
What are the "trades"? Which trade? What exactly is "a lot of hours"?
Could you change the hours? Would you want to?
Could/would you change what you do for a living in order to keep your wife?
These are just extremely basic questions, but knowing the answers to these would definitely help anyone here to answer your question. |

give her some extra lovin' in the bedroom area... you want to be sure you leave your woman satisfied before she is alone the whole day. you never know, she could get lonely and get it somewhere else.
so i just suggest start off with making sure she is satisfied everyday before you leave for work. |

Your wife needs more time with you. She needs more intimacy and by that I mean sharing time together, going for dinner or cooking meals together, the movies, long walks, family, friends. She needs a real relationship. Unless you decide how you are going to satisfy her needs, you are scr*wed.<> |

Sounds to me your wife is feeling neglected. Family always comes first, remember that! Tell her how much she means to you and make her feel loved. Take a vacation just the two of you, romance her, wine and dine her, send her flowers just to let her know that you are thinking of her. Call her often, take her to get her hair and nails done, etc... There are a lot of things you can do to show her you care even when you can't be there. Don't let your job be priority, make her feel special and loved. Good luck! |

tell her that you will try to do better and that you love her and care for her, and just want her to be happy. |
