Question for Husbands?

I find it a bit shallow that one requires a constant reminder of these things. I married her because she is a special person to me, the one I want to share my life with. I shouldn't have to constantly shower her with reminders and false adoration. We go out to dinner and a movie quite often. Occasionally we go for drinks. Sorry if that sounds cruel but I didn't get married to shop around for the next or newer model. I pinch her fanny, rub her feet, tickle, and chase her around the house. I tell her I love her and come home every night to my family. That was my promise that was my VOW. She gets gifts on her birthday, Mothers Day and our Anniversary. Are they Diamonds and Rubies,? Nope. Fancy Luxury Cars? Nope. Furs and a Mansion, Nope.

When you hold someones hand, look them in the eye and say I love you, there should not be a need for trinkets and baubles as proof.

Now the question is, since your asking if we throw rose petals and shower her with gifts of affection do you do the same for your husband or just expect it from him?

Married over 22yrs, tell my wife I love her everyday, help her cook

I adore her.

She is the most beautiful.

We go out on dates that I plan.

We usually just give gifts on our anniversary.

Dates are probably once every three months. We are busy.

I tell her she's beautiful, but, she doesn't take compliments well.

I don't know about that last one. I talk to her. I send her text and stuff. I don't think I'm romantic though.

we talk often and i alway give her my ear let her know im listing
I never tell her no
if you know what your wife like and how she like thing
then that all you need and you work with that.
at least it working for me.
it should be a natrual thing to express to your wife and let it flow like that
gifts dinner are nice but nothing says i love you more than a hug and a kiss as soon as you come home.
