My boyfriend and I recently ended out 6 year realtionship. I have been pretty lonely and so has he. We spoke on the phone this morning and I invited him over to watch a movie later. He wants to be with me, I don't know what I want. Is seeing each other right now a huge mistake? I miss his company and would really like to see him. What do you think?

I have already told him to come over, now if i tell him not to I look like I'm playing games!

There's nothing wrong with enjoying each others company if you are still good friends. If you don't want to be intimate with him again yet which is a good idea, just be str8 up and say you can come over but AINT GONE BE NO F***ING 2NITE. Honesty is the best policy! |

You need to figure out what you want before you see him, whether that be today or in a month thats for you to decide. |

you need to decide if you want to be with him or not. usually when you see someone you dont think clearly and you might whind up back in that relationship when you decide later thats not where you want to be. i would give it awhile, and let all emotions calm down and here after awhile if you still think you would like to get back together then you'll have a clear head and know that was your decision and it wasnt rushed |

How old are you? A 6 year relationship. Why did you break up? After 6 years, you either know you want to be together or you know it's never going to be any more than what it is. If the latter is why you broke up, getting back together isn't going to change that. Being lonely is hard!!! but being with the wrong person for the wrong reasons is worse. Give yourself some time to find out who you are and what you want. |
