Such as bf/gf buys gifts for each other all the time. i think you can still find happiness through love and not all these materialistic stuff, don't you think? and i also notice that they usually led to break-ups.

Yes relationships based on material possessions are not good and normally lead to break ups.
Any relationship not based on genuine love and care for the other person is not a good relationship.
But that doesn't mean it's bad to give gifts, if they like giving each other gifts it's no big deal, it's just when they expect them and won't be happy without them that it becomes a problem. |

I don't think that they are worse. My husband never buys me anything and that hurts. We don't fight about it but I seem to be the only wife who never has anything from her husband. Too much is bad but not enough is also bad. |

well usually relationships dont start off as a boy buying a girl a gift, they start because they find some kind of attraction. so I dont agree with you, or maybe you havent had any experience with having a boyfriend. and materalistic things dont make people break up with each other, thats a choice, either you grow together or you grow apart! |
