Respondent's original answer what does this mean?
I am taking my ex to court to get custody of my kids back. i just received a paper saying respondent's original answer

it says
general denial - respondent enters a general denial.

prayer- respondent prays that petitioner take nothing and that respondent be granted all relief requested in this original answer

so what exactly does this mean? he wants to go to court ? he is asking for me to drop everything that i am asking for and wants me to give up? what does his answer mean

i googled that for you -it sounds like he is dening everything and does and does not want to have to pay-or for you to be allowed to take anything-i have a link here for you have a look at it
