I use to like this man he was very sweet, intelligent & very successful but he was on “depression pills” and he tried to kill himself in the past furthermore he has done some really crazy things in his life time like make out with a man because he thought he was “gay” & I really thought that we where going to get married some day because we had a strong connection and we both liked each other a lot. & because he asked me but I said that it was too soon...He always talked about having a family and getting married but I wanted to take things slow since we only know each other for 7weeks. He was 28yrs old and I was 21, and I meet him through my brother in law.
He would call me 6times a day & we would be on the phone for hours and he would always came and see me but sadly my brother in law and my sister and My brother in laws family hate him and they didn’t like him because he has a bad past. but I didn’t listen to them at the TIME and I kept on dating him but later on my sisters and brother in law found out that I was talking to him and they got distress and they told me that he went around and told everyone that me and him where going to get married in the next few months and he said that he was going to take me away without anyone knowing and he told them that I didn’t want them to know because it was a secret and that caused so much trouble for me and for my family because they thought that I was going to run off with him. I asked him if that was true but he said that he didn’t know what I was talking about? and I got upset and I just stopped talking with him and he said that he knew nothing about this furthermore he went overseas for a holiday so I cut off all contact with him and I haven’t talked with him since but now he is back and My sister told me that he has been trying to get in touch with her husband and his brothers!!!! but they don’t answers his calls and they never talk with him so I found that to be very weird and so does My sister but my sister said that I should be careful since he might be up to something
I just want to know why do you think he is calling them up after all this time?? And do you think his trying to get back with me??? I would never go back to him but I just want to know why he keeps on calling my brother in law and his brothers, he never talks with them unless its about me….I just want to know what u think so please
answer that question for me because I cant understand it

Having not come out of a controling abuse relationship all that long ago your question is ringing alarm bells. Type controlling relationships into google and see if you find any patterns. Anyone that calls for 6 hours a day and asks to marry in a short space of time is insecure and controlling. Your relationship was probably all about him and his feelings. You say your family disapproved..they cant all be wrong.. You say he lies...no trust then no relationship. If you have any contact with this man then he will worm his way back into your emotions. He will probably say that your family dont understand the special love that you both have.. he will eventually isolate you from all of your friends and family.....Dont answer any calls or letters form him, if you do you will be made to feel the guilty one and the one to blame for everything. Does he ever do anything wrong??? Not in his eyes I guess. BEWARE. I wish you the best of luck but most of all enlist the help of your friends and family......be strong. |

Sounds like he is just plain weird and unless they answer his calls you will never know for sure why is calling them, it might actually not be about you.
Or maybe he wants to know why they said claimed he said those things. |

By maturity, you are much younger so he can play mental tricks with you. You are his way to become a "normal" person again-- getting out of depression, being a normal man, etc.
From the sound of it, you know very well that he is NOT marriage material. It is your maternity instinct that you think you can save him-- or so he hopes you would. I'd stay away from if you want to be healthy and have a chance of finding a normal husband. |
