I use to like this man he was very sweet, intelligent & very successful but he was on “depression pills” and he tried to kill himself in the past furthermore he has done some really crazy things in his life time like make out with a man because he thought he was “gay” & I really thought that we where going to get married some day because we had a strong connection and we both liked each other a lot. He always talked about having a family and getting married but I wanted to take things slow since we only know each other for 7weeks. I thought that he had changed since he was older, He was 28yrs old and I was 21, and I meet him through my brother in law.
He would call me 6times a day & we would be on the phone for hours and he would always came and see me but sadly my brother in law and my sister and My brother in laws family hate him and they didn’t like him because he has a bad past. but I didn’t listen to them and I kept on dating him but later on my sisters and brother in law found out that I was talking to him and they got distress and they told me that he went around and told everyone that me and him where going to get married in the next few months and he said that he was going to take me away without anyone knowing and he told them that I didn’t want them to know because it was a secret and that caused so much trouble for me and for my family because they thought that I was going to run off with him. I asked him if that was true but he said that he didn’t know what I was talking about? and he said that he knew nothing about this furthermore he went overseas for a holiday so I cut off all contact with him and I haven’t talked with him in weeks but now he is back and My sister told me that he has been trying to get in touch with her husband and his brothers but they don’t answers his calls and they never talk with him so I found that to be very weird and so does My sister but my sister said that I should be careful I just want to know why do you think he is calling them?? I just want to know what you think please

Don't pick it up. Leave him alone.
Listen to the older, MORE EXPERIENCED people around you.
Honestly, you don't always have to do that -- the *listening thing* -- but sometimes other people really do know what's what and you should pay attention.

I think you need to think for yourself and quit listening so much to your relatives. They sound controlling and strange.
I cannot speak for the guy who is interested in you. If I were him, I'd stay as far away from your crazy family as I could. The fact that he contacts your relatives who hate him shows me that he is not very intelligent.
Do you have a whole lot of other guys wanting to date you? If so, then I'd pick one of them. |

This man is trouble. Stay away!
When relationships develop very quickly on both sides that is one thing but this was developing in an unhealthy way on his side. He will attempt to reestablish the relationship and if he can't he will do one of two things - go away or begin to stalk you.
He had already established that he is willing to escalate your relationship rapidly and that he will lie to others about the seriousness of your relationship.
