Shes my ex-wife I'm sure she hates me now and we are both remarried but......?

My ex-wife left me a long long time ago but its still hard. She has moved on remarried and have settled into a blissful life as far as I know but I still thing about her at least once everyday. I know that I'm not in love with her I just love the person I knew her as. I have remarried but I just can't get her and the times I had with her out of my mind. Shes long gone from my life but not from my mind. Tell me something to do tell me I'm being a fool just tell me something.

it is common to remember the past and what u had with that person, but the past is over with and u can't ever get it back. try to focus your mind more on the present.

You are focusing on the good times. If you just sit down, and really list all the bad things she did, then you will get over her, unless it was you who treated her bad, then maybe that is why you can't stop thinking about her. If that is the case, you are haunted by the memories, but there is nothing you can do but to move on. Focus on the fun memories with your current wife. Also, its easier to remember all the good times, as time passes, but you tend to forget the minor annoyances. Focus on them, if you can, and you will be able to move on.

This is a natural feeling. We always dwell on the good times and never let it go. It gives pleasure of course but if it is going to harm your present then try to come out of it. Instead if it gives a momentary relief from your present situation why not continue with the thoughts. I loved a girl some 25 years ago. But we did not end up marrying. Even though I know where she is I never made efforts to get in touch with her. My present life is not something which is bliss full in any way. So the happy thought of those days keep me going.

Some people have an unnatural, romantic attachment to the past, and you're one of them. Is that functional? Is it working for you? The other person who recommended that you add up all the pain she caused you has a good idea.

every morning, when i take world's stinkiest sh*t, just before i flush, i look and every time i look, i get reminded of my ex wife.
