My wife haves a guy friend that she use to have a crush on years back before me. They are best friends and she text him a lot like almost everyday and almost half of the day and erases them right away. Sometimes it bathers me cause I just wonder if should I worry. One time I let her hang out with him alone and when I called her cell phone their was no answer. It rang and rang but did not go strait to voice mail. When she came home she said her phone died out. I wonder if it's the right thing for me to let them both hang out alone again ?

I ask her if shes doing anything with him and she got so mad at me for asking that question. I told her I want a lie detector test and she said she will take it and then leave me

u cant concentrate in work or any other activities.
this will keep killing u.
u will become paranoid or OCD.
try to explain her before u become so worst. or go out of the town or city .
otherwise u have to see a psychatrist. (he will give some pills so u can recover a bit). |

no i would not let her hang out with him. they have some history there. and its also not good that she text him and him to her several times a day. she married to you . also if she has nothing to hide why is she erasing things so you can't see them unless she knows you would not approve. i think you have a bigger problem here on your hands. |

wow your giving your wife away to another man. open your eyes dude she is cheating on you. ask her if you can come along when they go out again and watch the way she acts aroung the guy. If she says no then she deffinately has alot to hide. |

She erases her text messages? That should tell you something is going on that shouldn't be. They're getting too close. Put a stop to this now. Ask her how she'd feel if you were hanging out with a close female friend that you use to have a crush on. |

This is a difficult one.First off you don't sound like a couple,how do you know that she,erases her messages?DO you ask to check?When did you ring her phone, were you at work,at home waiting or just checking up?

No, not if you want to keep your marriage together. Your wife has no business hanging around with another man while she is married to you. It is natural for a woman to have both male and female friends but not just one in particular that she hangs with all the time, especially if she has a past relationship with him. |

That's rough man, and unfortunately, I can totally relate to you. You can't control her. You need to be able to trust your partner to draw healthy boundaries for herself and for your marriage. But she should respect you too. There's no good reason she can't meet this guy in public, like a coffee shop. She's gonna make her own choices, and you gotta make yours. |

She's texting him all the time then making sure to erase them right away, then the phone dying; this would send warning signs to most people. Then the way she answered the lie detector statement wouldn't fill me with confidence ( then again I don't know how this discussion went), leaving to think she would back out of the test in the end. No way would I agree to the hanging out alone, and at the very least be keeping a close eye on them (trust your gut reaction). |

I guess it comes down to trust in your marriage. I would sit down with her and tell her that you want to trust her but you can not control your feelings. Tell her that you want to read the text messages and that if there is nothing to worry about then it should be no big deal to see them. |
