My ex and I had 2 kids and then she behind my back when and got off birth control. Then a few months before the new one was born she took off from Oregon to Louisiana whle I was at work. Yeah I know messed up and we never got married. So I have a custody hearing here in Oregon in a few weeks. I still dont know if she will show up but if she doesnt I will get custody of the other 2 without a fight. I wonder how hard I should fight for the newborn. She didnt give the baby my lastname so I know it would be a paternity thing. I am just not sure what to do.

Do I want the baby? I didnt want another one and she knew that. I dont want her to grow up without a father and I love all kids. She wants all the kids to be without there father and I was with them everyday. It is tougher than do I want the baby. I want what is best for her.

If your sure that it's your baby, then yes you should fight for ALL your children. Show you want to have your kids, and not just to punish her. Other wise the judge will just let her have them. |

i would fight very hard for the newborn especially if it is yours! she can not be a very good mother if she has already abandoned the 2 children she already has with you and the newborn deserves the chance to grow up with its siblings and know what kind of person its mom is. |
