Should a mother still regret having her daughter?
Find answers to your legal question.

Should a mother still regret having her daughter?

Should a mother still regret having her daughter? She knows that because she refuses to give custody or 50/50 custody of her six-year-old daughter, to her ex husband instead of making him pay child support for being a man in the USA, he took to her to Russia her native country. The ex husband is currently wanted for parental abduction in the USA, but her daughter probably does not know that she has been abducted and would think she has the greatest daddy in the whole world. The mother thinks that she will never see her daughter again ever. Her ex husband is a citizen of Russia.

No, a mother shouldn't regret having her daughter or any child. I also don't understand how any mother could look in the eyes of their child and wish they weren't there. Her dad may not be the greatest gem, but at least he wants her.

No, A real mother could never regret that.

Still regret???
Did you regret having her in the first place?
Your situation is tragic especially since you're dealing with two separate countries and judicial systems.
You don't state your nationality. Do you have a right to spend time in Russia? Do you know where your daughter is there? Is there any chance you could see or contact her? Is there a member of your ex-husband's family to whom you could speak?
Try posting this in legal and/ or immigration sections. Maybe there's someone there with more knowledge about child custody kidnappings.

He should have to pay child support. It's very expensive raising children.
He/you abducted his/your daughter, and went to another Country? I think that's what you are saying.
You say that "her daughter probably doesn't even know that she has been abducted."
She is only 6. She is a baby. She needs her mother. She will grow up, and when she does, there is a good chance that she will hate her father for taking her away from her mother. Karma will bite you in the ***!

Shame shame on this so called man. He needs to man up

The mother doesn't regret having the daughter. She more than likely regrets having the father of the child be from Russia.

Hi - that kind of thing would certainly make a mother WHY on earth she went through all that pain and love, only to lose her daughter in the end.

But, the daughter will not remain a child for ever, and will probably want some questions answered by her father about what has happened. The world is a small place when it comes to information and travel, and my guess is that the daughter will soon enough be seeking to find the mother again, and a long-overdue reunion will be in order.

All the best; if this is you we are talking about, I'm so sorry.

(I have to say, I would be pooling my resources and my family would be joining in too; we would be looking to kidnap the girl right back; such things have been going on for a fair few years, and I know that there are Groups and Individuals who do this retrieval work for a living).
