Im not muslim and I don't know the their ways. I think, the decision must come from the couple themselves. Tell him the situation and if the guy loves her then he can find ways to protect his wife. Let's face it, conflicts between in laws always happen in society, moreso, if the husband goes out of the country, sometimes in laws intervene with the internal affairs of the couples. It's unfair for the wife. She must be given the chance to experience how to be a queen of her own domain. She deserves it. INo matter how good the in laws are, there will always be somebody there to find fault to the partner of their son/daughter. What more her case- mistreated? I think, husband should be firm in his decision to protect his wife rights. That is-if he loves her. |

No - if you dont wish to stay there is no committment in Islam that you should have to stay with in-laws.
In Islam, women once married the husband is to take care of everything. Even Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) restricted his men not leaving their wives more than 90 days alone and travel abroad. This is clear.
But now a days in the modern most cost effective economical societies these are happening everywhere. |
