Lets just say you have been with your partner for several years and have been making plans for the future. He/she is always proclaiming how much they love you and that you are their soul mate.

Because you have your doubts, you make up a dummy profile on MySpace and begging flirting. He/she falls for it. You have also figured out their password and have been monitoring all email activity. Next thing you know your partner is flirting away like a single person would and you can tell he/she is really digging this fake character which is you.

Here comes the fun part; your partner has insistently asked to be called to chat during working hours. Even though no calls have not been made, they have agreed via email to meet for drinks.

Which of the following would you do:

Would you confront your partner and say you found out about the emails and nothing about the MySpace profile?
Would you show up as the expecting date?
Would you say nothing at all and use it to your advantage?

Stand him up as the Fake.
Pack his bags while he is waiting on the *date* -- then send him a text that says:
"I'm at your house helping your g/f pack up your crap. We're having a GREAT time talking about you!!"
Then see how fast he gets home. Sounds like fun!! LOL

I don't know why you bothered asking this question. You are obviously in a long term relationship with someone who is not totally committed to you. Even though he may tell you he loves you so much - he is still looking just to see if he can find someone better. And if you marry him - this will continue - he will cheat.

I probably would just realize that my marriage is in deep trouble, and take a hard long look and what I want to do about it... You found out what you wanted to know, but I think now you need to really let set in what really is at stake...

In short.. If you marriage is worth saving, then now is that time... Otherwise, find someone who actually deserves your time.

I would show up as the expected date...then call him on all this crap. Should open a line of communication for sure. Oh...and when he says he knew it was you all along....don't believe it!
