Talking w/an ex wife again after months of not wanting to deal w/her.?

She has always wanted to be friends and communicate and I wanted it all or nothing and kinda still do, so here is my story.
My ex had came over cause I asked her to for the 21 yr. old sons issues and transportation and as that came to an end, I asked her how her car was and she said she broke something when she came to pick the son up to take to work that morning and anyway I told her I could fix it and she said that she was going to take it to a shop on Saturday and I said why so you can get ripped off like the last time. So she let me fix it 2 days later and then she went to pay me and I said that's ok instead next time you make lasagna send me a piece over and she said ok I will make you a lasagna. So she took the son somewhere and on there way back she called and asked me if I wanted ice cream and I said no I would rather have the lasagna and she said I am still going to make that for you but I said no that's ok I don't need ice cream. I just wonder what you think ? She has always wanted us to talk and I never wanted to cause like I said before but as these 2 years have gone by and her affair is pretty much out of my system I realize that we have to start out as friends to see where this may go in due time. What do you think that she may be thinking ?

Why do you care what she's thinking? The idea when two people get divorced, is to separate their lives. That means you both go your own way. Since one of your children is 21, it's not very likely you have many child type issues to discuss. Myself, I have zero interest in speaking to my ex. I'd prefer to be water boarded. I Not only wouldn't work on her car, I would happily watch her die. My only regret would be that I didn't have a video camera to record her death, to replay for enjoyment. I don't forget, when a person deliberately does me wrong. My ex did everything but hire a hit man to kill me, then said she wanted to be friends. My standards for friendship are higher than to be friends with a subhuman beast like my ex. I must admit though, it may be that you have less reason to hate than I have.
