okay so my dad married the evil lady like five years ago or something and they had twins and she got us 7 dogs, 5 horses, and 4 cats, no kidding! She makes me do all these chores (a lot of them) like cleaning horse poo and feeding the dogs and cleaning up after the twins. She is really controlling and won't let up. Oh yea and she makes me get up at 5:00 in the morning on the weekends to take care of the twins so she doesn't have to. I hate her and I'm sick sick sick of her!! What should I do?

Talk to her about how you feel....although this doesn't seem fair..its responsibility..maybe your stepmom is trying to build you up into an independent person...maybe she's trying to show you the energy it takes to raise children..did you guys start out rocky?i would first talk to her..this seems alittle much..maybe this is her way of parenting..maybe that's how she was raised..so talk to her.lay everything on the table..let her know you know you have to have responsibilities but its wayy too much to handle.i hope i helped..if not i really hope someone on here puts their extra effort to helping you!!!!

Nina why do you look at the bad things. think about it like this your step mom bought you 7 dogs, 5 horses, and 4 cats did you actually think with her watching the household feeding you all cleaning the house grocery shopping she'd also find the time to take care of the 16 animals. like any responsible pet owner you have to chip in and help out the animals. you can't just play with them then take off and go to your friends house the animals have many needs and someoen has to take care of them as well. I say thats pretty nice of your mother to get you all those animals. most parents say no for the reason that kids won't take care of there pets.

us, who didn't have step moms, had to get up and take care of chores and siblings, too. At least when you grow up you will have a clue of what to do, and you won't end up a useless looser. |
