Is it possable to marry your brother? like say your mom had 2 kids, a girl and a boy. She sent the boy to an orphanage( this isnt real, but say it is) and kept the girl. Later the boy is adopted and when both kids are older (say 16 + 17 yrs) then they meet and fall in love?!?! Then they marry? Is it possable and/ or allowed?

Situation is possible. But if the Relation is known before getting Married, It's better to call off the Marriage. It's not advised in any culture & has Scientific basis & also Emotional.
The Scientific basis is based on Gentic pool. The Chromosomal & Genetic Diseases which might not have expressed because of Suppression of single defective gene may express themselves( with clinical manifestation)
