Should I accept a job opportunity introduced by an Ex girlfriend of mine?
I still am in love with her though she's fallen out of it about 2 years ago...and even though we are still once-in-a-while type of friends, she emailed me and told me she'll try to persuade her old firm to consider hiring me. From a woman's point of view...should a man accept something like this. I'd rather have her again one day than this job.

If you dont want the job then dont take it. It wont make her love you more or want to get back with you. If you still love her you need to do more than take her job. Women can be woed and even though she may be over you, if you think there still may be a chance then you need to work harder at getting her back then taking a job you dont want. If there is a slight chance and you work your **** of you will get her back. |

Only if you are desperate for a job. It sounds like the only reason you want this job is to try to hook up with your old ex. Its been 2 years. You are obsessing over her. Not healthy. |

It would be fine - unless you are married. Your wife would be insulted if you accepted a job from an ex-girlfriend that you still care about.
If you aren't married, is the girlfriend aware of your feelings for her?
She may be trying to help you out of a sense of guilt because she does not return the feelings. |

I would accept if you are offered. She is trying to help you out. You never know it may lead to better things down the road for you and her. Although don't count on it. But take the offer if it seems like a good fit for you! |
