Was she trying to get back at me?

I was on vacation for two weeks and I guess I didn't make any time for the woman that I'm seeing. It was my daughters birthday and I spent majority of my time with her. She got mad because I forgot to call her and cancel a date.

The woman that I'm seeing had a birthday party and I found out about it from some mutual friends and she didn't invite me. I texted her and said, "Wow!! you had a party and I didn't get an invite. Are you that mad at me?" She replied by saying, "Wow!! U were on vacation for two weeks and you didn't ask to hang out with me not one time. Being slighted is a b#$# isn't it. U get back what you give out." I didn't understand this. She was mad because I didn't spend time with her because I was busy so she called her trying to get back at me by not inviting me to her party???

I do think she was trying to get back at you. She handled the situation wrong and that was childish. I am wondering if you didnt call her for two week or if you just forget to call and cancel your date? I really dont get though why if you were really into her why you couldn't have atleast spared a couple hours one day to do something with this woman. that too would upset me, but she handled this wrong. you both seem to have faults here.

Yes, she was trying to get back at you. The only thing you owed her was a sincere apology for forgetting to cancel the date. I'm sure hurt her feelings were hurt, but saying she handled it poorly is an understatement. This woman is childish and petty. I think you should dump her and move on. You already have a female child. You don't need to date one too.

I don't think she was trying to get back at you. If she was it was childish. Revenge is never a good thing. I really don't understand why you didn't at least call her. It's not hard to pick up a phone. She was very hurt by that. Now she is shoving it in your face just like you did her. It is childish.

She won't change. If you want to endure more suffering go ahead. But if you do, you have been warned. This is a little girl (in a woman's body) who:

1-Is selfish to no end.
2-Has no compassion for anyone.
3-Always will be first
4-Can't see people make mistakes and forget to call about a date. Why didn't she call you to find out what happened?
5-Self-Centered and stupid.

Don't waste your time. When she wants you back remember how these people use charm, persuasion and begging to get you back. You go back knowing you can't stand this person but are too nice to let go.

She was getting back at you because you did not place her first like you did your child. In a situation where you are not with the child's mother there will be some women that you date that will be jealous of the kid. They want you all to themselves. You need to make it clear from now on when you date to be up front about having a kid and that the child comes first no matter what. She needed to understand that you have only so much time with your kid and you take it. She also needs to learn respect too.

Leave her. if she is going to get mad and be a ***** because you want to spend your vacation with your daughter, than you don't need to waste your time. Your kids come first and she should accept that.
