What about husbands 1 year affair, stay or go?

short version: found out 3 weeks ago husband cheated in april 08 and carried on long distance phone relationship with her up until now. so basically throughout my who pregnancy this was going on. he says now that he cant let her go, and its just a phone relationship. i dont make enough money to support baby and self and he wont pay child support because he is on disability. he says he wants us to stay in house and not move out. i have served him with legal separation forms. do i,

a: stay here for next 3 months rent and bill free and save money for own spot?

b: get the hell out and dont look back

c: go to marriage counseling appointment tomorrow and work this all out since he has recently agreed to 'let her go'?

if its only a phone relationship its bad but not as bad as if it had been a full blown affair. if he agrees to seek some counseling its a start to make things right. i would stay where i was, get a job, and then decide. can he really get out of the child support just because he is on disability?

File for a divorce & don't leave the house or his lawyer will say you abandoned the marital property. All fathers have a responsibility to pay child support. He will have to learn to live on less. And if he is too disabled to hold a job,how is it that he can talk to his girlfriend. A lot of jobs only require phone work & the Office of Disability can get him a job if he really wants to work. He sounds like a poor husband; maybe you should send him to his girlfriend's house & she can take care of him.

Since he has agreed to work out with you, I guess you can give him one last chance. However at the same time, save up and upgrade yourself. If he decides again that he 'can't let her go', kick his sorry *** out of the house (or leave with your child).

Just do what you as a mother feel is right. Just keep in mind if you do decide to go to marriage counseling that the thought of him cheating will always be in your mind.

if i were u i'd find family to stay with and get child support they will find some way to make him pay.. if not the state will... he cheated on u and he wont let go... let him go be with the lil skeeze
