You'll need to get over your fear of rejection or you're going to be alone for a long time. I don't know anyone who likes rejection so you're not weird. It's not unusual to be attracted to other races. You are attracted to a certain type and that's your right. Good luck and gather up some courage.

First you say you're "obsessed" but then you only say that you are "more" attracted to non-black women. Being more attracted to one thing than another does not equal obsession. People like what they like. I don't think this is a big deal.

I think you may be mistaking a guys normal thoughts of wanting to do it with any pretty woman walking down the street regardless of race.

I understand - though I tend to be partial to Asian women myself, But I personally am very open to any race.

We can't help who we are attracted to, we just *are*.
Teach yourself to observe women's reactions carefully. Their facial expressions and body language will give a lot of clues about how they feel about you. Then take it from there.

Being obsessed with it suggests that have other issues here other than being merely more attracted to women of other races. The qualities that you look for in a woman, obviously outside of skin color, could be found in black women. I don't want to make assumptions about your environment or upbringing, but one day you are going to have children, perhaps a daughter, and they are going to be considered black by society. So regardless of what woman you wind up with, I think you owe it to yourself and any black women whose had a positive impact on your life to at least assess your attitude towards black women. Since you say that you are black, I assume that you're mother is too so think about that.

But as far as approaching women, you'll find a lot that aren't attracted to black men but many are. Whether you approach all women, only black, or non-black every man faces the same issue; you won't ever get any women unless you try. If you want to experience women, rejection is part of the process. There is no way around it.

Race isn't the only reason for rejection. So you don't have to attribute rejection to your race. Not everyone you are attracted to will find you attractive, so you just have to expect and accept the occasional rejection.

Just let yourself fall, no need to pay attention to race. It just may be a black woman who steals your heart. Just be yourself and let someone else be herself. Pay no mind to race...it will limit you.

People are people, it's normal to have a preference. I'm half Greek half Native American. Tan skin, Brown eyes, brown hair. I find myself attracted to mostly really white men. I like pale skin green/blue eyes blonde/red hair and freckles. It seems to be the opposite of what I am. Not to say there is not black guys or VERY few mexicans/asians I find attractive, but they're out there, it's just preference. Nothing unusual I don't think. And nothing racist on my part, I just prefer super white guys lol. I say don't worry about it, you'll find a non-black woman who likes black men, I know plenty of white girls who prefer black men.
