I am really looking forward to summer! What are some fun things that my husband and I could do for the summer?
Anything low cost would be excellent as well due budgeting and all.

-Take a hike/have a picnic in the park
-go to the beach
-go to a state fair/carnival
-take a scenic drive
-go to the historical society for your town/ any museums, art centers in town
-go for a bike ride (some places allow you to rent bikes for the day if you don't have your own)
-plan a camping trip (even just camping in the back yard is fun too)
-train for and participate in a 5k or charity walk
-volunteer in a town clean up day or at a soup kitchen or food bank
-go to an animal shelter and take the dogs for a walk
-go yard saleing or to a flea market (go early for the best stuff or late afternoon to get great bargains)
-offer to babysit for a neighbor for an afternoon or evening
-organize a block party or bbq (make it pot luck and byob to save $)
-see a drive in movie
-pick out a book you are both interested in reading and spend the afternoon on the porch reading together |
