He makes me feel like i'm too clingy sometimes. i like to talk to him but he says he doesn't need to talk to me every minute of the day. he gets mad at me when i ask him to do stuff for me. he says that i'm being lazy. he says that i complain to much and that i'm too picky. what can i do to make myself aware of these things that i am doing and to make myself stop? am i being too clingy?

let me be more clear the question is not if i'm clingy... what can i do to keep myself from being clingy?

Why don't you try distancing yourself from him for a while? try being more independent. Trust me, when he sees that you are taking more time for yourself, and that you are able to take care of yourself without so much of his help, he will miss it, I guarrantee. and he will probably start telling you that he feels like you are paying no attention to him. When he says that, just remind him of the stuff he has been saying to you before, and I'm pretty sure he will try to change. Hope this helps. |

Are you sure this is your issue and not his? My wife asks me to do things all the time and I don't think twice about doing them, lots of times I like to surprise her and do some of the things for her without any asking. Some men use that as an excuse to push their wives away, to blame them for things that are going wrong. Has he shown other signs of slipping away? Is he becoming more distant than he was before? He may have some things going on he isn't telling you about. |
