What are your thoughts on an older woman with a younger man?

Not THAT big of an age difference., but an almost 26 y/o female with a barely 21 y/o male?
They have a lot of the same interests and have some of the best conversations with each other they've ever had.

The problem is she is coming out of a relationship (it was a serious one) and he is pretty flirtatious with every woman he comes into contact with.

That's not that big of an age difference and if he is a player and she is on the rebound...that's a good combo. She can get it out of her system til she finds a real guy.

The age difference may not be an issue but I think the fact she is just coming out of a relationship is.....and the fact he is a flirtatious young man he would probably end up breaking her heart again.

So, it's not so much the age but their current situation.

Go for it. Keep in mind that it will probably just be a rebound relationship, so don't have high expectations, but you never know what might happen.

Well if he's a mature one then that's okay since age doesn't matter. I know some guy friends who date older girls or some older women date younger guy! as long as the two are mature enough and get along together, & committed to each other then that's okay. but in your case, he's a flirtatious type of person... it would be a waste of time for her to step in this relationship.

Age isn't that big of a deal when they are that close in age. However, since you say he is flirtacious.... I would be very careful on her jumping into a new relationship with this guy.

I say if "she" just wants to have fun then go ahead...Why would she want anything serious with at 21 year old in the first place exp since she just got out of a serious relationship...But for fun....why not?

When I was 27 I married a 21 year old guy. We have been married 20 years now. IT was the best thing I ever did. No matter who you marry there will be somethng (religion, race, family styles, personality issues) Good marriages dont just happen they take work and comittment. Women age differently than men so tell her to always take good care of herself. Dont worry though, just be happy and take one day at a time. We tend to look to much and too deep into things!

that is not a significant enough difference to matter, if he was 18 there would be some problems. but unless you were like 35 and he was 21.

I'm happily married to a woman 3.5 years older than me. We got married when I was 31 and she was 35. It's fine. I love her. That's what matters.
