What can I do about my husband's swimsuit?

We were just married this past spring. He's 35 and stays in pretty good shape. When we were in Mexico this winter he wore a pretty small bikini. Not a thong but high and low cut with material that's pretty thin. It was appropriate for the beach and pool where we were staying but our neighborhood pool I'm not so sure. There aren't many kids around here but I don't like him putting on a show for the girls that live here and the lawn and maintenance girls especially when I'm not there.

Any advice on how I can get him to change his suit. It started a fight when I brought it up yesterday.

Your funny, I have seen your husband and I agree with you, you need to force him to cover as much of that hairy body as possible. I'm sure he will scare most of the children in the neighborhood. I need to move to your area, if you have lawn maintenance girls. Now that would be worth it.

It's like owning a Ferrari. People look at it with envy, people look at it and want to own it, people look at it and wonder what it feels like. The owner takes this all in, and then parks it in 'his' garage. He takes pride in it, he cleans it, keeps it looking good, and likes the attention.

Your husband will have to do the same with his 'toy'. As long as he's keeping the hood down, and keeping the rest of the 'car' looking good, then who's being hurt?

Just say you accidentally put it in the dryer and it came out ruined it's now in the garbage. Offer to pick one up for him.

I would also be embarrassed if my husband went around in a Speedo. It's so yesterday. Tell him he looked like someone coming out of Miami Vice. !

Well first thing you do is throw away the thong/high & low cut or whatever swimsuit material thing... THEN you buy him some swim shorts. Simple. done.

So what's your reason for not wanting him to wear the swimsuit? Because from the sound of it, the only reason you have against it is your own insecurity. What makes you think he's putting on a show for other girls? Maybe he's putting on a show for you? Did you ever consider that. If he's got it, he should flaunt it. If he's most comfortable with that, and there are no real issues with it, then what's the problem other than your insecurity? I know I wouldn't be too happy if my husband told me to cover up even though I felt comfortable in something!
