I am engaged, We have a beautiful baby girl together and another baby on the way. Here recently my fiance started smoking cigarettes. Before I go on I have no problem with it or anything I just dont want to be with a smoker for a few personal reasons.. Anyways, I HATE that he does, every time we start having a good time he has to ruin it by going to get a cigarette, he bums them off everyone else so he dont spend our money on it. I hate him smelling like it all the time, I hate that he's hurting his health, plus in my personal opinion I think its a HUGE turn off.. It disgusts me! I dont want to be with him if he continues, hes trying to quit or so he says n yet hes getting no better. Once i told him to choose between me or his cigarettes and he said fine he chooses cigs. How can I help him quit or realize he's runing our relationship because of it? Please dontn be mean about your answer its just my opinion and i dont want to get crap because of it, i just want help

this definitely seems like an addiction now. it is also so unhealthy for the babies. if that doesn't stop him. some churches have a great recovery system, my friends parents started a recovery ministry, and it is amazing God has worked in so many peoples lives there. If you do not consider church, then i guess rehab. But believe me Jesus saves lives, God saves lives and relationships. This will always be a problem if you do not solve it soon. |

You have made your choice when you started to date him, Im sure he smoked then. Are you willing to lose the father of your children because he chooses cravings over you. He already told you he chooses cigs over you. Just try to be kind and ask him to go to a Dr and quit for your children to. Maybe ask him to smoke outside. That's what I do. |
