waste, kids that young cant even retain a large enough amount of information for 20,000 a year. sure, they probably have great techniques that accucally help your kid develop, but they can be found on the internet and you could learn those in 15 minutes and buy yourself a new car every year |

It is a little outrageous for my checking account but it tells me that the parents just want the best education possible for their child. |

It's their money and if that is what they want to spend it on why should I care. Maybe they want to give their kid an educational advantage and they can afford to do so. I can think of a lot worse things to be spending their money on. |

I personally wouldn't do it because i don't think it makes a difference, but if they have their money it's their choice so i do think anyone can judge them. |

Nothing it's their biz if they want to if they want whats best for their child my hats off to them. I love my kids and would do anything for them that's why private schools are the way to go. Public in my book has to many issues. |

i went to private school and it cost about that much but my mom and step dad are like oil people so were kinda rich so you would think thats alot when my allowance is 1000 pounds a month which is about 2000 american dollars |

It's their money they can do what they want to do with it. Probably not a good idea on a 1st grader, but hey look at us we are all acting without thinking. Spending money like its growing on trees... heck why not?.... It's America!....

Hopefully, they will get full value for the money and the kid grows up very smart. Otherwise, invest in public schooling. |

I went to private school. Complete waste of time. Didn't learn a damn thing. I send my kids to public school..and I am amazed at the their education, they all play several instruments which they learned at public schools, they all have tons and tons of friends. All straight A students, performance arts, sports all of it.
I am so envious of my kids. |

umm......private school doesnt guarantee a good education. I rather spend that money and hire a tutor if necessary for him. |

That they have more money than sense. Not that I am against private schooling - it is the only way to go these days but there are plenty of cheaper choices out there or maybe they have the money anyway and don't care. |
