What do u think of this? What would you do if you were the man?

Today at work i was trying to go to the third floor and i saw a guy from another department inside the elevator. He was holding a drinking and his his drink fell so he was like "I was looking at you and my drink fell from my hand". I was not in the mood to talk much so I asked him how much was your drink and i brought out few dollars from my bag and left in the side of the elevator and i was gone. Later I thought may be I should not have done that but i was not in the mood of small talk. I heard from one of the co-workers he is senior manager in the equity department. What do you think of what i did?

That clumsy DOLT just wanted to give you some chin-nuts and forgot he was holding the drink. Don't worry about it since you did nothing wrong.

I would have told him to hold on tighter next time and got off the elevator at the next stop. I wouldn't have given him any money, that just seems weird. If I were the man I would have wondered why you were paying for the drink that I spilled.

So I gather that you NOW wish you would have flirted back after you find out he's a hot shot at work. You're pathetic.

If I were him I would come around again and use you for a "booty call" then throw you away when I get done.

hahahaha are you serious? ok he was trying to flirt with you and he likes the way u look and that is why he wants to make small talk but that few dollars is so funny. I don't know what he will think of you but i would think your ego is very high and you are too serious to talk and thinks very high of herself.

nothing! it was thought ful! for you to buy a drink or just give money to someone!
but iw ould of handed it to him personally!
no need to "Small talk" just say oops here let me get that for you" and move on!
for someone who says FThe worlds you sure care a little to much about this dontcha think!

i agree,he was flirting with you. it was a line to get you to talk to him and now he may think you may be weird and may avoid you. if you see him again, just smile and be friendly and give him eye contact.
i would also not have given him any money,it was his fault he dropped the drink.

Heck, it's a good job you weren't out on the street, and he wrecked his Caddy!

Cableguy
I think he is clumsy and just because your hot it not your fault he is a Klutz

bundoli_double
I think you need a hug...
As men we are often pre occupied with women and the prospects of getting into their pants or fantasizing getting into their pants.
If you put on the show you with me by paying for the drink that was dropped, even if I was in shock and awe, I would flag you as ***** and bury your career with the company.
Once the fantasy had subsided, i would look at it as this could have been customer of the company and having some cranky person diss someone in the elevator like the way you did was rude for may have been a simple mistake.

It appears that most missed your point. People with your stunning beauty usually have that problem daily. Others look at you in awe and wanting, they forget what they are doing or holding in this case. So what you did was nice, but you can not help the way you look. So my advice,,,,,damn! I forgot what I was writing,,,, your stunning....

Hmmm, that is just weird and awkward. I'm not saying what you did is wrong or anything, it just seems awkward with no real nice way out of it.

He probably dropped it because you were wearing your "My Name is F*ck the World" tee shirt again, silly.

It sounded like he was flirting with you, but I would find it strange that you would pay for the drink. It's one thing not to take the bait, but what does giving him money have to do with avoiding small talk?

bmaggie84
Oh thats good ,Did you CLEAN it up . Pathetic, messy man!

Irish
I would have just said I'm sorry for spilling my drink and tried to clean up what I could. I wouldn't make a statement like he did especially since he has a well paying job. You being a woman could have got him into big time trouble as you were a captive audience in the elevator.

Well Im thinking maybe from the man's point of view that your a conceited spoiled girl.

I am at work to make money, not care about morons spilling drinks....why would you even give a crap? That is what I am wondering.....

I understand why you did that, but sorry for being graphic, that's like you blaming him if you wet your pants. I think he was just checking you out... Did he BLAME you for him spilling, or was he just flirting with you? Men will do the dumbest things when trying to get a woman's attention. He sounds like a dork... You're not his mom, so you are not responsible for his drinkiepoo... LOL Good luck. And if you see him again, tell him he can buy you a drink. LOL

lopez.eddie49
**** it

Loose50
I'd say he used a very BAD line, and I'm sure he probably thought you fell for it since you payed for his drink.

But, don't worry about it. I'm sure he's not dwelling on it, so neither whould you.
