my wife's friend asked her 2 drive her and her b-friend out of town so she could meet his mother.now i hear that my wife's friend boyfriends mother says she will buy train tickets.so i ask my wife is she still going she said that she wasn't sure. im like but did not tell her if they are buying train tickets than why do you still need 2 go i think her answer should be no im not going.so im thinking something else is going on or the whole story isn't true.also this is memorial day weekend so im like why dint you wanna spend it with your family .i mean he's not your b-friend so you really have no interest to meet his family at first i was ok with it cuz she was supposed to be the driver and i felt that it was important for the friend to meet her soon 2 be in-laws or whatever i mean we have a car and she doesn't but now with the switch im thinking

If I am understanding this correctly...she might be up to something. Since the boyfriend's mom is buying train tickets for them then your wife has no reason to go anymore. This is not her family so she doesn't need to get to know them etc. You're right, with it being Memorial Day weekend, she should be spending it with her own family. If your wife still wants to go, did she include you at all? If not, I would ask her more questions. |
