What do you think about gays getting married?? to me i thinki its wonderful but what is your thought on it?

Its no different to me than straight people getting married,it will never affect me as i am straight and i was allowed to marry the person i love,so should everyone else be.

I think it should be allowed - why not - a pledge of love and life partners.

I know two guys who have lived together many years - they own a house together. If one dies - they have willed the other half of the house to the other - but they have to pay inheritance tax on it. If they were married they wouldn't have to pay the tax or put it in a will. Spouses are next of kin.

If it bothers you - don't look....love is love - get it where you can.

AND - this country was NOT founded as a "Christian" country - that is a myth - of the founding fathers very few were professing Christians - many were Masons, some were non-clerics and deists - meaning they believed in God but not miracles or religions. Thomas Jefferson specifically was not Christian. Why do you think they made a point to separate church and state.

AND families come in all kinds and shapes - and some families are the ones you make for yourselves.

I've always believed that God created man and woman to be together. But we do have free will. If people want to live their life that way so be it. But i don't have to like it or support it

actually, i don't think about gays getting married any more than i think of anyone getting married. i couldn't care less as it's none of my business

I myself, think marriage should be between a man and a woman. but, I also say to each its own, it doesn't hurt nor harm me, so I really could careless, I am not here to judge.

I totally support it, 110%. What's so horrible about it anyways? When Im older and I find the person I love and want to spend the rest of my life with,my soul mate,be it male or female, I intend to do exactly that. Marriage is just a nice way of legalizing it.

I personally think that gays should definatley be aloud to get married. its completely unfair that a man and a women who may not love each other can get married, but 2 guys who actually love eachother, cant. go gay marriage :)

I believe gays should be able to get married. If a man loves a man or a woman loves woman, let them be together. We should all have the choice marry the ones we love. It won't affect my life, because I'm not worried about others peoples lifes. I have my own life to worry about.

I think people should be allowed to marry anyone they choose. Why do people think they have the right to dictate others' lives? I can't believe in this day and age that there are still so many judgemental people. How can you compare gays marrying to a person marrying an animal?! You've got to be kidding me. They should be allowed to marry the person they love and adopt as many children as they want! I'm sure those children wouldn't care if the couple that adopts them is gay or not as long as they are loved and cared for.

i think its disgusting this country was founded on GOD and FAMILY and marriage= 1 man and 1 women not 2guys and 2 girls cmon lets get real here we are sacrificing our founding principles so a small group of people can be happy...... to me that's just dumb......
