I think it is less to do with the smiling but the outlook and mentality that person has, someone who is eager and free with their smile has a more positive attitude which of course is going to mean their relationships are more successful. |

I hate having photos taken of me - I do smile in them when I have too...my marriage is just fine. I think it's an interesting theory - but please - I doubt it really has any bearing on marriage. |

Please... you have two types of people... lazy and not. People who have no problems, but just don't feel that spark - and get a divorce = LAZY. It is too easy to divorce these days. I mean, come on... pay and BOOM... you're no longer married.
What happened to when our parents and grandparents got married and they worked it out... I mean, I'm all for a divorce if there is abuse or an affair... but when I read some of these stories on YA and its a SAHM, that has a husband who fully takes care of her and the kids, but she just doesn't think she wants to be married any longer.... (it was in M&D a few days ago, maybe a week or so?) my jaw dropped on that one... I can't imagine having a marriage with no problems, and on top of that she was fully taken care of... kids too.... and wants a divorce...
