What do you think of this situation? pls read and help pls?

Whenever i am sitting with my so called friends they try so hard to put me down and i do not say anything just laugh but yet again it makes me wonder. Good example is when specially men are involved or other new people i should be painted the worst person, i take it lightly and laugh when they say that but this is not one friend but all different friends who do not know each other some from college and some outside. I find it weird that they are trying so hard to show the other party that they are really something when i seriously careless but makes me wonder why? because it happens everytime. What do you think is the reason.

P.S. I get better grades and i am good looking too but i am painted infront of people something i am not and yeah they all ask me for help when it comes to studies.

They are jealous but you need to cut ties with them because you are handling the situation better than me because i would be very upset but since you are cool then stop hanging with them because that is all false they are saying in front of you and do u wonder what they might say behind you. You do not care because you are confident but u should not waste your time on people like that.

Tell them to help themselves. They put you down in front of other people to make themselves look good. It's childish, attention seeking behaviour.

These people are not, nor will they ever be a true friend to you, they are just petty, and insecure abusers, if you have any self-respect, you will immediately stop spending ANY time with them whatsoever. They will no doubt start verbally cutting you to shreds with everyone that they can because you are not sticking with them and letting them continue to belittle you, giving them the continuing power over you, but, this should not bother you, since this is what they have been doing for quite some time now anyway, which will now leave you the time to meet new people that could actually become genuine friends. I hope that you realize that if you stay around them, this will haunt you the rest of your life, unless you break the cycle now!! Please, break away from them now, as you will soon be on your way to a much happier life.

Stop. Life is short. Don't waste another second on these people. They are not friends worth having. Good friends don't abuse each other. Good friends support and inspire each other. Good friends make life better.

You only get one shot at life. Don't waste any more time. Cut this cancer out of your life today. If may seem difficult to you, but in a very short time you'll look back and realize this was the day you put yourself on back on the path to enjoying a wonderful life!

I think you need to take a step back and decide just how starved for friendship you are to put up with this stuff from these people.
If you are college age, you don't need to put up with this stuff from anyone. They are old enough to be a little more mature than all that jr high popularity contest crap.
Please do not refer to these people as your friends.
Friends don't do that to each other.
Did it occur to you that they socialize with you so that they can use you to help them with their studies?
All this "taking it lightly and laughing" needs to end, period.
When you are disrespected like that, especially in public and in front of people you don't even know, you need to make your feelings known and you need to stand up and walk away.
If they feel you are such a bad person, why do they hang out with you?
They are using you.
Don't be a door mat.
Let them do their own homework and go find yourself some true friends.

they are jealous. you need to seriously not associate with these people....they dont sound like friends. just people that use you for your brain. get rid of them....slowly make new friends and tell them you cant hang out. id rather be alone for awhile than hang out with rude people like that.

You should have looked your 'friend' directly in the eye and asked why they would say such ugly things about you?!? Confronting them on the spot will get them to stop the put downs . . . especially when they are left to explain their ugly actions.

They are just using you, the best thing to do would be to walk away and find new friends, ones who like you for who you are and not just "use you".

You already know that these "so-called friends", are not your friends, you already know that, so just find some new ones.

Don't continue to torture yourself, it is not worth it, you are a wonderful person, and if those "others" can't see it, then you do not need them in your life.

Leave them, and find some better friends!!!
