I've always wanted to have a baby with my husband we lost twins about 12 years ago and weve had our share of problems and since hes said were not ready or we cant afford it. Now his 18 year old daughter is pregnant and plans on living in our house I dont know if i can do this it is way to hard emtionaly. What should i do Im scared this is going to ruin my marriage?

I did tell him how i feel and he just says why does it have to be about me? Get over it.

Do not trick anyone who doesn't want a child. Whatever his reasons are, forcing someone to become a parent is unfair to the person and the unborn child. If having a child is important to you, you must explain this to your husband. If he still refuses you have to decide whether you want a child badly enough to end your marriage and have a child with another person. |

12 years and he still has excuses? File for divorce. Move on. Find a man who actually WANTS to have a family with you.
Before I got married, my husband and I agreed that once his kids are out of the house, they stay out of the house. None of this bouncing home to live with Dad. Fortunately, by living in a rural area with limited job opportunities, that won't likely be a problem. |

Your husband hasn't healed from the loss of his twins. Guys often hide their deep emotions about losses. And kids is something you should have talked about before you got married so you were on the same page.
I strongly suggest you try to get him into some kind of counseling to deal with the loss and to figure out why he doesn't want to have children now. |

You need to decide which is more important to you: a baby or your husband. You have a new baby coming into your home, a baby that will need lots of love and a young woman that will need lots of help learning how to be a mother.
