What is my ex trying to tell me?

Basically we were together for a year and then we broke up because we just argued all the time. We broke up two years ago, ever since she would get drunk and call me once in awhile. She has had several boyfriends since but she doesn't stay with me very long. She kept calling me and texting me even though I kept telling her I didn't want to talk. I changed my phone # about 8 months ago trying to keep her out of my life. And today she showed up at my house with a friend of ours. She seemed like she was just trying to provoke me into a fight and argue with her and she kept mentioning her current boyfriend and how she is going to dump him.

Does she miss me and is trying to get back together? or is she just trying to hurt me? What is going on here?

Sorry meant to say She has had several boyfriends since but she doesn't stay with THEM very long.

Sounds like she misses the relationship she had with you. I would be cautious though. It sounds like she has a drinking problem and that would prevent an honest relationship between you. If you want to try it again with her, tell her to stop drinking first.

This is an opinion only. She sounds like someone I know. They suffer from this personality disorder. It is very severe and sometimes scary. She cannot let anyone go. She always has to have someone in the background ' waiting ' for her. Or in her mind still wanting her no matter how long you have not been together. My advice to you is RUN! It is a very serious problem and can be extremely disrupting to the person who is on the receiving end of it. The fact that you had to change your phone number should be enough to warn you. If she persists in jumping in and out of your life, I would advise you to get a restraining order. That is the only thing that would defer the person I know to stop ' stalking ' or calling or pursuing in anyway their ex's. Be careful of her, it is really an unhealthy state of mind that she stays in, if she is like the one I know. Good Luck and God Bless You.

Don't go back. She missed out on a good thing and she misses you. But that is not a good reason to go back. I went back and it caused me a whole lot of pain. I thought that it would be better the second time around but that was just a song.

She is mentally disturbed, or doing drugs or something, she is messed up. She might not even know what she's doing, or why she's doing it. You can't figure out "crazy" because there is no logic. She might even be calling the other ex boyfriends. You are probably not the only one she harrasses. What the heck was your friend thinking? Why bring her over there? You need to stay away from this crazy ex girlfriend as she is capable of doing harm in some way.
