Every wife should know when to keep her mouth shut -- it may sound rude, but I think we "modern women" are so used to having the "right" to air our opinion everywhere that we have forgotten the true beauty and necessity of modesty, plain being nice even when we know otherwise (when you want to tell your husband his family is annoying, for example -- he already knows this and having you beat it into him does not help).
This is probably the least discussed but most important trait to keeping a marriage strong -- OF COURSE I am not talking about staying quiet on important matters or having wives be meek to abusive husbands. But for your average man and wife this is something that really is a long-lost art -- knowing when to just smile and not point something out that is really not a big deal and not worth your husband's hurt feelings....
