What is your least favorite household chore?

As I am scrubbing the toilet, YUCK, it dawns on me ~ that is what I miss most about my ex... LOL... that he would always scrub the toilet!

What is your least favorite household chore? What is your spouse's? Do you swap and each of you do the other's hated chore? Or do you take turns? LOL... Come on ... I need a laugh... ;)

ironing and cleaning the oven. My husband's a brilliant oven cleaner thank God. It's amazing how attractive the ironing is if I'm avoiding doing paperwork though.

My least fav - oven cleaning
My spouses least fav - ceiling scrubbing
We do not swap. I cannot reach the ceiling.

MommaBear
My least favorite chore is "housecleaning" in the whole.
I hate it because you no sooner get the place looking good, and of course this is when you don't get any visitors.
But I no sooner turn around, and the place is a mess again. That's when everyone decides to just drop in.
I'm wondering if it could be my 3 dogs and 3 cats, that make keeping up with the cleaning a pain in the butt ;)

I like this question, my least fave chore is gotta be the bathrooms! I am VERY lucky on that note because my man is a clean freak so no matter if I feel like cleaning or not he will just to have it done!

hahhahaha funny you miss your ex while scrubbing a toliet i must say... well i love doing dishes cause it's fun to splash water at him while he dries them... kinda fun to get him all messy then tease him.. we don swap at all we do chores together mostly and it's always a laugh...that being said he always takes out the garbage..cause it's smelly and icky and i do the laundry because he doesnt understand the concept of sorting before just throwing it all in the washer... thats pretty much how we work it out... oh yeah and he really cant cook so i do that for our safety... i dont think he hates any chore he just does what i ask him to do or help out with...

My least favorite is cleaning my room cuz It takes forever

I simply don't like house cleaning. None of it. If I had the spare money to throw away, I would hire a house keeper. But I have better things to spend my money on. So I clean, because I don't like a dirty house. My husband helps out with cleaning chores. He does windows and cleans places that I can't reach, like the ceiling, on top of cabinets, refrigerator, etc. I dust, vacuum, sweep and mop. OH.... I also clean the toilets and the entire bathrooms. I also clean the cat's litter box. Today is Labor Day. I am spending the day doing house cleaning catch up. And on Y/A during break. Yeah, right. What I have to do is shut the computer off in order to stay away! Here's wishing you a happy Labor Day. I hope you're not spending it scrubbing the toilet!

I hate doing dishes, but it comes in second, to the toilet.

jballerina00
Doing the dishes. Toilet scrubbing is fine, since everyone in my household takes a minute to clean it right after they...uh, mess it up. Cleaning out the fridge is something else I hate in the fact that it usually creates more dishes.

I hate doing the dishes. He always takes out the trash . If we had to switch we would probably have trash overflowwing from under the sink. EWWW! But true. I refuse to take it out.

i hate folding clothes and i think he knows this because he will put them in a basket and leave them for me and say oh by the way honey i did laundry. yeh I'm thinking he folded them to until i see the heaping basket of clothes. on the other hand he hates feeding the dogs so i sometimes conveniently forget pay back. but they always get fed.

thetruckingindustry
Dishes, and having the new dishwasher don't help, I still hate doing dishes

Nikki
Cleaning my bathroom.

Dishes, definitely dishes!
Nope, no husband to ask help from.
So I depend on plastic utensils, plates and cups, to my old school-mate's chagrin. She is forcing me, while here to eat from china, but I feel uncomfortable at their clinking and clanking, ans especially that bell-like "tinnnnnng" that real glasses make when you make a toast!
Well, sorry to disappoint you, but dishes are no laughing matter to me!
Sorry not to have helped,
Ollie.
What about you?
