What is your marriage situation?

I am happily, ecstatically married and have been for over 15 years!

My wife and I found each other in our late 30's after we both had failed earlier marriages (in both cases brief ones).

I "married up" to the most wonderful woman in the world. She is my best friend and we discuss everything. My family likes her more than me (LOL)

My friends -- the most important thing you can ask in a spouse is to share values. She and I may disagree on a lot, but we share the same value system. We have small rituals we do consistently to remind us of our ties to each other. We make big decisions together but allow each other the freedom to make individual decisions -- and somehow we know, instinctively, which are which.

Be your spouse's best friend, share, love and laugh. The rest takes care of itself.

Almost 12yrs. into mine and have hit a HUGE bump in the road. I really think we will make it though. I've talked to people married 20yrs+ and they ALL say that bump comes and thats when people quit. For better or for WORSE its not always a fairytale people.

Married just over a year. The man I am married to does care about us financially and he loves my son as well. Unfortunately the realities of life kind of killed our romantic relationship (we are young parents, dealing with a difficult financial situation). I feel like we just live together and that's it, but hey at least I got a son out of it!

We've been married 23 years. We are very happy with each other and have a lot of fun.

We had one child move out this year and another come back home with a baby (her husband is deployed). Our son has yet to spread his wings and fly the coop yet.

I'm very happy in my marriage also. We wen't through some hard times with me being sick and in and out of the hospital. And he was there for me, like a good man. He never left my side. We are both 24. Everyone painted this horrible picture if we got married but he is not like that, which shocked my family. He loves me and I love him. I'm glad he is in my life.

I'm actually engaged! Getting married in August.
I've been him for three years..Almost every moment has been like a fairy tale. (corny, I know!) That isn't to say we haven't had a few issues, but we work through everything just fine. I'm look SO forward to spending my life with him!
