What should I do for my husband and my one year anniversary?

My husband and I can't figure out what to do for our first year anniversary. We like to go out to the movies. Which we have only done once in the past 10 months since we have a baby. However, I don't think movies is some thing that you should do on our first year anniversary. We will be taking our baby where ever we decide to go or do. What should we do? We like to have fun, and I want it to be some thing we could spend do together since we don't have very much time together...Anyways, what should we do?

Well, my first anniversary is coming up soon also. We don't have children and we have a camper located near a lake. We are going to go there for the weekend and have some quiet alone time, just the 2 of us. We might go into town one evening for dinner and then come home and "celebrate" our anniversary. *wink,wink* I just love being alone with him in a quiet setting with no distractions.

I am sure you love your babies very much...

You need to take at least an evening off from them and spend time with each other. I am sure you could get some one you trust to watch them for a little while.

Originally I was going to suggest a night without the baby, to have quality alone time. but you could still plan a nice out. Not sure how your baby does in restaurants, but you could go to dinner, get a hotel room and have a night away from home.

we also had a baby on our first anniversary and I think we just spent it together at home, enjoyed the company and made a nice dinner. Then after the baby was in bed, we lit some candles, had some wine and enjoyed some alone time. If you get my point ;o)

Having to have your baby along definitely limits the options.

You could go to a nice hotel, some hotels have daycare and you would be able to drop your daughter of there for a couple hours so that you both could have some alone time.

Or, depending on where you live, you may enjoy going site seeing in your state. Full the car up with a tank of gas, and just drive, have a mini road trip. Your daughter will be fast asleep and you'd be amazed at how much you all will be able to talk about during the time. You may learn new things about each other, and really grow closer.

Well depending on when you anniversary is maybe look into going to Vegas, lots of deals going on right now on rooms. There are a lot of things to do in Vegas, other then gambling and drinking!
