ok so my roommate is pregnant and i think her baby is gonna be here no later than july. I know she knew she was pregnant before we renew the lease even if she said she didn't but that doesn't matter now. So should I move or stay until the lease is up in january 2010. I really don't want to deal with a baby in the house but it's gonna cost me to move and find a place or roommate should I just wait or leave as soon as I can. also the father is drunk good for nothing man he hasn't come around after I called the cops on him once bc he was drunk outside my house making noise at 4 am! but once the baby is born he might be in her life again.

Get some earplugs so you can sleep. Refuse to babysit. Deal with the BF as you have in the past, you don’t have to put up with him. If she wants to spend time with him, with or without the baby, she can go to his place. When the lease is up next year, RUN! |

is talking to ur landlord and tellin him what u just told us an option? maybe he has a solution with another rental property. |

First, see if you can find someone else to take on your part of the lease. If it's someone responsible who won't mind a baby, then approach your roommate with the idea. If you can't find anyone, just try to stick it outuntil the lease is up. I don't blame you for being annoyed at her, I wouldn't want to suddenly have a baby around, either. |

If you signed a lease you are legally bound by that contract. If you just up and move the landlord could still hold you financially responsible. Talk to your friend and your landlord to find out if you can get out of the contract legally before you make any decisions. |

if you new she was pregnant before she renewed the lease you should have dealt with it at that point. now your choices are leave or deal with the baby. sorry but its true she is having a baby and that isn't going to chang. |

If it's that bad why did you sign the lease. The lease is a binding legal document that you are obligated to. Talk to your land lord and ask to be removed from the lease. |

Maybe you need to start treating her like a room mate. set and agree on some rules. Or start looking for a new room mate. You sound really selfish to say you dont want to deal with a baby. |
