my partner for 12 yrs sneaks off to drinks and lies to me should i be concern because he gets mouthy and cause problems for ever one in house i have asked him not to drink but as soon as he gets one dime in pocket he at the liquor store

Leave. He has a drinking problem and this is no reflection on you but you don't deserve to be second choice to alcohol. |

leaving a partner of twelve yrs cos he's drinking is ending a 200metre race at the 160 metre mark because someone crossed over to your lane?!?
he has a problem, help him to see and acknowledge that. this might sound weird but the fact that he hides to drink shows he has some respect for what you say. help him get help for his problem.
don't tell him not to drink, tell him why he should not drink, plan an intervention for him or something and most importantly
pray! your family is under attack by the spirit addiction, alchohol in this case so you need help

yes i think you should leave,alcoholism is a disease and people who are dependant on drink find it hard to care about anyone else.
Move out, leave and if he cleans up his act then maybe things can work out. Ive been there and for me it didnt but ya know. I was always glad that i left and found myself again and im a better person for it,they bring you down with them and alot of why you want to stay could be fear of being on your own and also the safety of routine. But trust me once you make the break you'll begin to get to know yourself all over again and thats wonderful.
I think youve already made your decision anyone and if you leave i think its the right thing. |
