What would you have done in this situation!?

My husband works as a Correctional Officer at our Sheriffs Dept. A couple nights ago he got a picture mail from a chick he works with. Well, he has told me some of the things that she has done or said (perverted). He said he thinks that her & another guy he works with is sleeping together. She is married with three kids, with a newbie that is only 3 months old. So...back to the story. I saw he had some picture mail, so I checked it (I am not a snooper-never had reason to believe he would do such a thing). But it was a picture of a chicks you know what with hot dog weenies in it & one in her butt. I was furious. I just thought, how effin trashy is that!! She has my husbands cell number only because he is the supervisor over his shift & if she has to call in sick or ect., she has to have his number. All the coworkers have his number. I feel like this was WAY beyond the border of a 'coworkers' behavior. I got mad & told my husband to tell her to stop that ****!! I don't appreciate her sending things like that to my husband!! I just have to much respect for myself than to do things like that!! What would you have done if this would have happened to you!?

PS [I don't have any trust issues with my husband at all - I just felt like that chick was WAY out of line!!]

If you trust your husband it is not worth fighting with him over it. He cannot control what other people send him on his phone. Even if he tells her to stop there is no guarantee that she will. She sounds like a trashy hoe. I am sure that guys she works with see her that way too if this is what she does. Don't let trash like that cause an argument for you. Ignore the B and have him do the same.

I agree with you completely! It's way out of line. I understand that co-workers like to joke, but that is usually when they are friends outside of work as well. I have three superiors at work one only which I consider a friend outside of work and I would never send a "joke" like that to my bosses! She crossed the line.

Well maybe its too late, but you should have sent that to another supervisors phone, to your phone or something to show a superior there and get her effin fired!

. Im wondering how many times has she done this before. Because she fills that that its ok she can send this to her boss and not get in trouble. I really wonder what the story is on both sides. I would find out how many people received it. She's sounds like she is working more then her job and one other person. By the way my husband has been a P.O. for 20 years and Chief of police for 7 of them and he has never received a pic like that. Not to say that he hasn't been approached, It happens all the time in that line of work. Good Luck Hun

A lot of coworkers send each other crap like that.
Just because she's a chick doesn't make it any better or worse.

My brother-in-law works in the county jail and his coworkers are nuts.
They all send him stuff like that and he forwards some of it to me.

I am curious as to why your husband would leave that on his phone for you to see. Why didn't he delete it as soon as he got it, or show it to the next supervisor in the chain of command? He must enjoy things like that. Although as law enforcement officials, I would said that neither the woman or your husband behaved very professionally. She should not have sent it and he should have reported her.

I would call her let tell her off!!! I understand that u may be honest with ur husband but there is no way of telling if he is 100% honest with u. I'd keep an eye open if i were u. Good Luck

Your response is completely normal!

Somethings going on there.....sorry to tell you this. This woman wouldn't do this without some sort of reaction from your husband (I know it's hard to believe). If your husband doesn't do something about this (such as report her, not just talk to her) then it only confirms this relationship is happening.

Now, how you deal with this is up to you. If you attack, it will push him to do something. However, if you passively sit there you are allowing it to happen.

It's not all her fault...try and think about this logically. You need to play detective to get your facts because your husband will NOT tell you them.
