He was divorced and has a child in the previous marriage. my stepson is already 25 but my husband still supports him. We are married five years now and blessed to have a beautiful baby girl. We were having a conversation about the future of our kids. during the conversation he mentioned something like "it is none of the business of other people what ever he would like to give to his kid from the previous marriage", would you be hurt? what would your reaction be on this?

what he is saying is that its no ones business what he decides to do about the son, which is of course is wrong of him, because he is now married, with a new child, and has a new life. whatever is decided upon, he should include u too. |

never mind, marriage means co-operation to each other, understanding is the best and first step in the marriage, no matter what ever your husbands past life is , you please ignore all the sort of his past things, keep him always cool and ask what ever you want to have, surely you will get the definite answer from him.both has to co-operate and respect each other,don't try to quarrel and let him to quarrel with you, make every moment a treasure with your family.all the best. |

Well honestly he is right. Even though it wasn't put in a very good manner and he should take your feelings into consideration as well. I try to keep my opinions to myself when it comes to my wife's decisions about things with her daughter. I may voice an opinion but its her choices to make. |

yeah i would feel hurt and a little angry because he has your family to support now as well.
But he is his son and at the end of the day it shows what a supportive father he is and will be to your daughter in the future.
His son is 25 though and yes should be standing on his own two feet by now of course but if it was your little girl would you support her?
dont let it get to you and remember he wont be doing this always there is only so much a parent can give when it comes to money love though is unconditional |
