my first marriage I was 18 1/2 that was much t young. I had my first child at 21 and my second 3 days before my 24th b-day. As we (all) grew up my husband and I grew in different directions and became different people. The only good that came out of that marriage were two beautiful children, But it was very hard to raise them on my own. So, I am not sure (in fact) I know I didn't make all the right decisions.
My second marriage happened when I was 37, that was a better age to get married. I had friends that just began having children at that age. It is great for them, they are more patient, can make more time for children and have more money. |

I was 18, my wife 17. I was in US Army, and found-out I wasn't going overseas, so we got married. First child two years later.
We thought we were grown-up, and we did OK for 22 years, but gave-up when we realized that all we were doing was fighting with each other.
Both kids were shocked, which is too bad, because they grew-up thinking that fighting between parents was "normal".
Fortunately, both kids stayed married so far. |
