When did you know you loved your spouse/soul-mate/etc?

Caroline and I met at an AA meeting two years ago, as I had been sober for four months before she joined, I started to help her on her journey as all recovered alcoholics do.

Very soon after that I realised that I loved her but didn't want to rush into anything, apart from the difference in our ages (26 years) I didn't want to take advantage, but I proposed to her six months afterwards.

We were married on the 4th of July last year.

one night i went to the movies with him and my family and i looked at him and i just didnt see "this guy" anymore i saw him...i love him more then he will ever know he is my rock :)

Hi, I realised i loved my partner when we were lying in bed together one Sunday morning and we looked at each other and at exactly the same time we said i love you!!! I knew way before then but didn't want to tell him too early. We have now been together for 10 years and we have one beautiful daughter and we love each other more now than back then! Generally, when you wake up in the morning and the first thought that you have is i never want to wake up without him/her there, i would say that's a pretty good sign that you are in love.

I knew the first time that we kissed. He looked in to my eyes, the way no one had done before. He smiled the sweetest smile I've ever seen. He was looking at me with the biggest eyes and told me that he loved me. From that moment on, I knew that I loved him, and wanted to spent the rest of my life with him. He felt the same, just another reason why it felt so right. Everyday I am reminded again and again, how much I love him. How much I am comfortable with him. I feel so safe in his arms, and happy whenever I think about him. And if you are meaning age, I knew when I was 14, and he was 15. We are still together and I love him more than I ever could of imagine since that first date.

probably by about a week after we started seeing each other. i thought about him all the time, and i just had this fluttering feeling in my stomach constantly. i felt like ariel on the little mermaid where she is just singing and stuff all the time cause she is so happy inside. i was 18 or 19. we're still together - married 7.5 years.

According to my experience I can't excactly tell you when liking develops into love...it comes from within you, your internal soul.

Hello, well I know it may sound cheesy but i truly started to love him since the very first moment, he is just so special, extraordinary and wonderful but when i truly knew he was the love of my life, the truly one for me and that one day we are getting married was a day when i was telling him how i lost my father and the way he died, i was feeling obviously sad telling him so i was looking down at the floor and then when i looked at him there were tears coming out from his eyes and i could see how he was in pain because of the way i was feeling at that moment i saw how much he cares about me and loves me and i truly thank to have found him, we are perfect soulmates, I think it may be quite different for everybody that's something that you just know. have a lovely day

its funny to say but when i met him, i just felt differently immediately and knew he was the one we have been together 15 years and married nine and i still feel it
