My separation was about 2 years ago now and my divorce is pending.

I think it's just around the corner. I may take legal separation first, and see whether we both really need each other. However, the chances that we restore a good relationship is totally up in the air. I mean it doesn't necessary separation leads the better direction. (living in unity)

Divorce was about 9 yrs ago after 17 yrs of marriage (15 yrs of verbal/emotional abuse). Hubby's marriage was the same (8 yrs) but with 20 yrs of marriage (ex-wife cheated on him).

We both just celebrated our 7th anniversary a few months ago - we are still on our "honeymoon" :)
