I have put up with butt kicking for awhile... I have decided once our child (about four years from now) leaves I want to leave as well... I have looked for a job for about a year now... but I am tired of being physically hurt... he hasn't hurt our child... and maybe I start trouble... he didn't want me to work and now I am at the point to where I am broke, I want to start making money and save because I don't want to live under a bridge or something... but I am trying to figure out how to go out on my own and support myself and our child... if anyone has gone through this can you give advice??

Go to a shelter. Take the child. DONT ever think this is your fault. That's just part of the abuse, to make you think that.

Find a local women's shelter or call PAVE. They will help you. |

You can call the cops and press charges. Have them romove him from the home. As for money he will have to pay child support. You should also get a restraining order.
