Where do all these people having affairs meet? How does it happen generally?

I'm going to agree with the guy who said you just don't notice. Some women expect guys to be as aggressive as they were when they were young and single and dating or something and I don't think it works that way.

There is too much at risk for the guy to be really aggressive and obvious. I think there have to be subtle little hints that go both ways before things can escalate. If you're not noticing and not flirting back then nothing happens.

You know what I'm saying? Wink.

In church,bars,work,elevators,buses,etc. Usually at work. It didn't happen to you maybe because you look and act like a lady. You may be so good looking that you are unapproachable too. Without knowing you I couldn't answer that.

It isn't like a sign saying 'come cheat with me'. It is people who meet, talk and one asks an innocent 'want to have coffee' and then it goes from there.

From my experience people aren't necessarily looking for it, but it just happens through work or friends or wherever. For whatever reason there is something lacking in their marriage and it just sorta finds them and happens. Some people are habitual cheaters and go out looking for it while some people have a one time affair (relationship) because they were lonely or neglected in their own marriage. Everyone that goes through this cannot be classified the same but sadly they are by society.

they usually meet at work, or online. i would assume it all begins with something emotional , people who have affairs just don't decide they are going to have one, it happens a little bit at a time, at least it was this way with my husband and the other woman. she came to work with him and his boss, i suppose at first they were just friends, than someone began to flirt, and then the sharing of secrets comes, and if there is any problems in the marriage its kind of like an open door to cheat. the other person gains the trust of the married person, and they begin to talk, then meet one another, then finally they sleep together and the line is crossed, and the marriage is over with. this is how it all began with my ex. but it all began probably very innocently with some conversation, and being friends.

Yes you do know someone who's having an affair. You think people broadcast this? Or put a sign on the front lawn? Most people meet at work, statistically speaking, bc it's where people spend the most time each day, sadly!

Look around you. Some are very good at hiding it.

What you have to do is build strong barriers around your marriage. Extraordinary measures to protect your marriage. Married women shouldn't be in bars with the "girls". If you are in a bar you should be with your husband.

I think the sleazy cheats send off some sort of vibe. Maybe it's a pheromone, so the men can recognize them.

Many meet at work... that is the most common place. I live in vegas, it is easy to find someone to have an affair with. But I am with the man I love more than any other, sorry no affair.
