Where do people meet their spouse?

Honestly when they least expect it usually.
Bars and clubs are the worst but surprisingly places that you do casual stuff in like walking a dog in the park, food shopping, going to the gym... are really the best places (met mine at the gym ... he asked me out while I was all sweaty) I never thought I would get anyone there in a million years. I think it's because they see you at your most natural and real.

I met Austin (my fiancee) first on Myspace before I moved to Key West. I was looking for people to maybe meet up with and he emailed me. I wasn't interested in anything romantically with anyone but thought he'd make a good friend. I went out with a local who I was interested in one night and as soon as I walked into the bar heard someone scream my name, it was Austin. He was gorgeous! LOL. We drank some drinks and come to find out they were friends, we decided that we'd go hang out soon but didn't exchange numbers. I still talked to his friend and started dating him but soon found out that he was dating several other girls, so I called it quits. Soon after Austin showed up at my work to "buy something".. We hung out everyday after that playing mini golf, going to movies, sitting on the beach and finally having a kiss during Super Troopers.. LOL. A week later we were boyfriend and girlfriend and inseperable. 2 years later we're engaged and buying a house together!

P.S. I'm sorry but how the hell can anyone give a thumbs down for where someone met their spouse? That is ridiculously stupid.

I met my first one in highschool - married my highschool sweetheart.

My 2nd i met through a random email, that led to being friends, that led to travel, that led to romance, that led to marraige after that.

There are a million answers to this question.

Through friends, through their parents, in high school, in college, at work, at a bar, playing sports, online, at singles groups, on vacation, at casinos, in a restaurant, on blind dates, at church, at the mall, when they least expect it... the list goes on and on.

I met my ex bf's by the following:

- Worked together, I was a waitress he was a bouncer... ran into him a few years later, but he was too shy to ask me out (so he got a mutual friend to ask me over messenger)!

- Seen him in the bar, thought he was super cute and I really wanted to talk to him so I tripped him to get his attention (liquid courage)! I got a dance, some drinks, and a bf for 10 months out of the deal! lol.....

- Watched him rollerblade past my house everyday on his way to University, I even knew what times he passed by.... I told my roomie how this super hot guy always passed by at the same time and told her to check him out... turns out they had classes together so she called him over! I was soooooo embarrassed, but we all started hanging out, he expressed interest in me, we dated a short while but the second he tried to kiss me I freaked - couldn't do it, we were too good of friends by that point.
