My husband and I are relocating. we want to move someplace beautiful with mountains, lots of green (not dirt dessert), water falls, lakes, rivers, caves, nice small town folks (we like small towns), not a lot of crime, jobs nearby (maybe close to a city?). we currently live in FL. and there are NO jobs here and there's so much crime here. we hate it here.

(we don't have any kids but we would like to start a family in a safe town, that have jobs nearby. preferably with a city close by. but we definately are looking to live in a small country town.)

Search right outside of Colorado Springs, CO. Its a beautiful place. Lots of mountains, waterfalls, the most incredible natural beauty you will ever see. There's a ton to do there and it was voted the best 'Army's best place to live.' My bro and SIL live there now and they are devastated to have to move. I've visited several times and my husband and I have considered moving there ourselves several times. You won't regret your decision. |

I can tell you where you shouldn't go....NJ. I was born and raised here and although I do love it, it is SO expensive and it's crowded. I have family out in Burbank California and it's beautiful! There's mountains, beaches, beautiful palm trees and the people are really nice. I would definitely check it out! |

Steamboat springs, CO fits your description pretty well. Second choices would be billings or bozeman, MT. The gallatin river is emerald green, like green cool aid. |
