Well, Andrew and I do it like this:
Me: What's for dinner?
Andy: I don't know.
Me: Didn't you take something out?
Andy: Its not my job to take something out.
Me: Well its five o'clock!
Andy: Make something then.
Me: You make something.
Andy: Wanna go out?
Actually, I print off a menu at the beginning of the week. He chooses something to make off the menu (he is home by three, I don't get home until five).
If dinner isn't ready when I get home, he usually has a big smile on his face. I know that you were at our house...again! |

Well when I ask my husband what he wants for dinner, he always says " I don't know" so I have stopped asking and just started cooking whatever I feel like at the moment. He eats every drop without a complaint. |

as long as somebody cooks and the food is good..... because it is better than wasting time trying to decide who cooks when you both maybe hungry... or go out to eat and avoid this question.... |

The only time my wife asks me what I'd like to have for dinner, is on evenings she's not cooking. Usually, we eat out on Friday's and Saturdays. That doesn't mean we go out. Some times we go and pick it up and bring it home. If dinner is being cooked at home, my wife plans the weekly meals, as she does that when she writes her grocery list every Sunday morning.
If I was sitting at home all day (day off), I would never come out and ask my wife, what's for dinner. |

My kids, lol. Seriously, they are really picky and I have to feed them. So, most of the time it's a meal that they like.
But I will say that when it comes to cooking, my fiance cooks at least 70% of the time. |

I choose. I always choose. I wish he would give me suggestions. It would be so much easier on me. There IS such thing as a husband who is TOO easy going. All he says is, "whatever you fix baby, is fine with me". Well sweet, except what if I dont know what to fix?
Just as long as it can be digested, he'll eat it. |

Usually, I'll be like.. "what are we going to do for dinner? " And then he'll present me with options. If I don't like the options, I'll offer to cook something else or bring dinner home.
He often times prefer to have dinner ready by the time I get home so we discuss this really early in the day so either he can get started on it, or so that I'll know to stop off on the way home. |

I do the planning, then do the shopping, prepare the food, then he eats it.
Once in a blue moon he makes a comment about what he would like to eat some night, and I take note of that and make plans to do that, but am the BOSS in my kitchen - he is the BOSS of the master bathroom. |

Since I'm the one who takes the meat out of the freezer in the morning and must do something with it when I get home, I decide (wife). My husband only has to come to the table to eat it. |

We flip a coin. Then I get to keep the coin and decide what I would like him to serve me for dinner. |

In my house, it's the wife. The husband could care less what I cook because he'll eat anything. I love it! |

Today I was planning to cook simple everyday food. But when my husband came back home, hi ask me what I am planning to cook, and how I will do it, on italian or frensh stile. I wanted kill him on that moment. I sayed to him I will do on my way thats it, I am not professional on sheff. Then we get upset on eachother. Hi desides to go shopping and buy food what hi wants to eat. I just sayed ok no problem. I am so upset I was crying. Its hurting me, and hi knows. Is not first time. I sad I you dont like cook your self. The problem is his character, is not my food. I am cooking good, but hi think hi allways can choose what hi want to have for a dinner. Now we dont talk and I feel so badly. I will stop to do any food for him thats it, exept coffe.. |
