My husband has a great bond with our 2yr son. My son freaks out when his dad leaves the house. He wants to do everything his dad does. However, when I leave the house he doesn’t care at all. Why is that?

Sure you are; it kind of hurts. But don't worry, kids do this all the time. At some point he will favor you, too. Just keep on being a great mom and it will come back to you. |

Kids attach to one or the other parent at times. Don't worry, at some point he'll be mommy attached too! |

Male children tend to pick a male mentor. All it really says is if your husband is abusive then your son will not turn out so well, if not then he will probably turn out a man's man. |

kids pick favorites but don't worry they tend to change them back and forth as they age. So right now he may favor his dad in a week or month or what ever he will favor you and back and forth.
It's normal to feel some jealousy but it is also normal the way your son is acting and in no way what so ever means that he loves you less. |
